I am still in the dark ages of using Singtel broadband over the phone line,<br>
and the occassional Wireless@SG. So for those enlightened folks on the list<br>
who are already on Mobile broadband, I have a few questions:<br>

- My objective is to send SMS from a linux machine and use data traffic (~<br>
300MB/mo). I don't want an expensive subscription, pay per usage is fine.<br>

- I don't mind paying for the hardware. Choices are USB modems (many<br>
problems?) or Mobile Broadband routers : Having "enjoyed" poor service from<br>
Singtel, I will not do any further business with them, so I checked M1 and<br>

It's also capped at ~ $30/mth for the rare cases where I do need more traffic (eg, when I'm stuck in camp serving my reservist duties).</div>
