OTOH, consider this: The Exchange servers being run inhouse have a much poorer 
uptime. It is not uncommon to experience a monthly reboot, plus anywhere 
between 30-90mins downtime monthly !. 

Plus , gmail's spam, virus filtering is a lot better than those being run by 
the above mentioned group of Mus-Musculus armed Simians.
