I fall into the perl user category, and even within the subcategory that 
uses the 'bless' keyword in his own code at least once in the last 12 
months :) (or maybe it was 18 months ago) In fact I have been working 
with perl code today.

I wouldn't mind to meet up and talk casually on things perl related. I 
even know how to do 3 things in perl, namely:

   * using mod_perl, Apache::ASP and DBI/MySQL to build perl web 
applications
   * writing web services in perl using Net::Server and XML RPC
   * LDAP batch directory maintenance using Net::LDAP

I'm holding off learning python until it gets curly braces and forgets 
about whitespace...

BTW - Please announce your meeting on slugnet once you have a date.
