[Slugnet] Linux 8.0 ???

Dear SLUGNET,

I had the opportunity to come across in a document, specific reference
to an operating system called "Linux 8.0" ... I am unable to quote the
actual statement but this was a specific reference to operating systems
like Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Linux 8.0 ...

Linux 8.0 ... was there ever such a release? The only distribution that
I can remember having the keywords "Linux 8.0" was the release by Red
Hat known as Red Hat Linux 8.0 ...

I wouldn't have fussed if it was worded as Linux 2.2.x or Linux 2.4.x or
Linux 2.6.x .. but Linux 8.0 ... mmm ... or maybe I am just ignorant?
